Sophie's two - Ike

We have a birthday girl in the house today - Sophie's two. She's been telling us, "I'm two, I'm four." She holds up her index finger on both hands to show two. Cute!! David is off today since he worked the weekend, so he made them all a special birthday breakfast. We put two candles in her grits this morning so we could Happy Birthday.

On a more somber note, we're anxiously watching Hurricane Ike as it bears down on the Texas gulf coast. We pray for safety for our family and friends, especially since our family members have decided to stay put and ride this storm out. May God's graces cover them...
